32Red Casino Wins Trademark Dispute

This week 32Red Casino has won a trademark dispute against the gaming giant William Hill and is planning on seeking compensations after two years of litigation have come to an end with 32Red Casino's victory.

The dispute revolved around William Hill's brand 32Vegas or 32V using a similar brand name to 32Red established brand and thus infringing on their trademark.

This infringement resulted in players' confusion and caused 32Red Casino to lose customers.

32Vegas was a Playtech licensee casino that was transferred under William Hill control and became part of William Hill Online in October 2009.

William Hill has since closed 32Vegas casino and transferred all its players onto a new the new casino brand 21Nova Casino.
